| I never thought i'd be looking at a '93 300ZX TT...here i am So i went and looked at this Z car. I drove four freaking hours there. Here is how the car was advertised. "...."Excellent" condition! Drives like a new car. Looks like new. Engine looks pristine...interior looks great...Must Sell!/obo" This is what i found... Mileage is as stated, 56,000ish Picture looks a hella lot better. I was sort of dissapointed by the how it was advertised as excellent, even after talking with the owner over the phone. When i got here the car was already running. The battery needed a jump start, so they say. -about 10 dings in each door; no dings anywhere else. -he has only driven it about 6,000 miles since ownership in 1996. -last inspected in 1997 -the car handled awesome. No sloppiness at all...it was fantastic. -tear in driver's seat from seat beat. -leather is still soft. Steering wheel is top notch. Still soft and shinny. No buttons are worn, everything is still very readable. -seude interior has a few stains -floor mats have stains. -transmission shifts smoothly -paint is faded, maybe a good 3 stage will help it. -vibrates under braking, maybe needs rotors. -ac is not cold, blows warm air. -dryrotted tires; needs tires -standard boost guage did not work properly; needle did not go into positive boost.->turbo's were quietly spooling but didn't seem to throw you back into the seat. It was like one continuous throttle response. There was tiny hesitation. -no windshield wiper on one wiper arm. -window trim needs work -no prior records -it has been garaged; i say this is true becuase of the leather being soft. Otherwise i would say it wasn't. Well, it wasn't what i was expecting but with some tender loving care, who knows. The guy apparently doesn't drive cars. He had two ther cars outide washed and pretty. There was another car in the garage also. It was covered it dust. You would have thought it was snowing! HAHA, but it did have rims covers. Any input on what i am getting myself into with this car would be great. Expenses? Problems? Anything!
